Main storySFBR virtual foster program offers a unique way to save animals in needFostering is an integral component of animal rescue. It’s simply impossible to save lives without the assistance of dependable fosters. But what happens if you want to help a rescue dog, but can't physically foster or adopt? SFBR’s Virtual Foster program is a unique and easy way to help save the lives of beagles and hounds in need. Contribute an amount of your choosing - whether in monthly installments or a one-time payment - and help fund a rescue dog's food, vet care, transportation, and more.As an SFBR virtual foster, you will receive exclusive updates about the dog you are helping, shared only with the virtual foster. For example, if you donate a toy for your virtual foster dog, you will receive a photo of the dog having a blast with your gift.Remember that fostering - whether physically or virtually - saves lives. w/linkDonation offers much-needed financial assistance to cover vet expensesIn late 2022, just in time for the holidays, SFBR received an unexpected and humbling surprise - a local foundation made a significant monetary donation to the rescue. This generous contribution has given SFBR the ability to pay our outstanding vet bill at Town and Country Animal Hospital and will give us the opportunity to continue saving animals in need this coming year. We cannot express how appreciative we are that you chose SFBR for this donation. As a new rescue solely run by volunteers who work full-time jobs, your donation has made a significant and positive impact for our rescue. Many of our beagles and hounds come to the rescue in need of medical support, and your donations will ensure they get the care they need before finding their forever homes. On behalf of our volunteers and our pups, THANK YOU!Howlin’ Good TimesCanines & CocktailsJoin us for SFBR’s first event of 2023, Canines & Cocktails, which will take place on Saturday, January 28th at The Backyard at Doral Yard, 8455 N.W. 53rd Street, Suite 106, Doral. With a $10 donation, you will receive a drink voucher to enjoy a Beagle Mule. Beagle Winter Wonderland was a successSFBR wrapped up a very successful 2022 with our Beagle Winter Wonderland. It was a truly magical time for pups and their families, as Santa Paws spread some holiday cheer and patiently took photos with all our beagles, bassets and other furry friends who joined the fun. Thanks to those who attended or supported the event, SFBR was able to raise money and continue helping hounds in need. w/photos of event Happy TailsSophie and Tucker? w/photosSophie is a sweet little 16-pound beagle who spent eight years of her life living in a crate with another dog and unwanted.
